FAQs

How do I wash it?

Pop it in the machine at 30°C with non-bio detergent, then line dry. It’s ready again in about 2 hours.

Will it fit in my washing machine?

Most home machines take sizes up to 120x170cm, depending on drum size. For larger rugs, use a commercial machine at a launderette or petrol station.

Can I put it over the landlord’s carpet?

Yes. It sits on top and covers worn or stained carpet, and nothing needs fixing down.

What about accidents?

Blot up what you can and wash at 30°C. The liquid-repellent pile helps stop it soaking in, and customers tell us smells wash out.

What size rug should I get for a rented flat?

For most flat living rooms, 160x230cm fits under the front legs of the sofa and makes the room feel bigger. In a smaller room, or for a rug you want to wash at home, go for 120x170cm. For narrow halls, try a runner. If you’re not sure, measure the space and check our
