Warehouse Operatives

We are Kukoon Rugs. We are a family run business based in Newry, Co Down shipping to customers all across the world. Due to continued growth and expansion plans we are now recruiting for  Warehouse Operatives to join our team. (Three Month - Full Time Temp Contract)

So what will you be doing at Kukoon.com 

  • Ensuring all packages going out to customers are to the highest quality with the correct labels and presentation.

  • Picking items throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery according to the daily schedule.

  • Ensuring to follow all manual handling and health and safety procedures.

  • Processing large orders through a computer and scanner, ensuring every package gets labelled correctly. 

  • Verify compliance with quality, safety, production standards, work rules, and efficient operation of equipment.

  • Keeping an accurate record of stock in the company’s management system.

  • Assist with the Loading and unloading of goods.

  • Handle inventory with care and attention to detail by sorting and checking goods into various locations.

  • Oversee stock replenishment.

  • Works in various locations within the warehouse depending on demand.

  • Maintaining general housekeeping.

  • Inspects all orders being returned, checking for damage, defects.

  • Working with the team to continually improve processes as part of our lean culture.


 We’d love to meet someone with..

  • Previous experience in a fast paced, physically demanding role. 

  • Experience of stock control and stock management systems is beneficial. 

  • Team player and willing to go the extra mile for your team and our customers.

  • Forklift experience would be advantageous. 

  • Basic computer and reporting skills.

  • A positive attitude who demonstrates pride in their work and has the energy to match.

  • A relentless attitude to problem solving and outside the box thinking.

  • Commitment to continual personal development.

  • The ability to work and thrive within a fast paced environment, producing consistent results in an ever changing role.
