“Collaborating with Kukoon on this collection has been a fascinating experience. I love to work with botanical elements and references from artisanal textile archives.

I hand paint each of my printed designs from my home studio and, after painting the motifs on to paper, they are digitally printed to fabric. This process allows the mark making and texture of hand painting to be reproduced.

There is something really beautiful about seeing each stroke, even the accidental ones. Watercolour pigments and inks are the perfect mediums to create joyful expressive pieces and these doormats look as colourful and joyful as I envisaged.”
